 Job Description:

The Mechanical Heavy Lifting & Rigging Specialist is responsible for planning, executing, and supervising heavy lifting and rigging operations. This role requires expertise in the selection of appropriate equipment, adherence to safety standards, and coordination with various teams to ensure the successful completion of lifting projects.


Knowledge & Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in heavy lifting and rigging planning and engineering within the petrochemical or industrial construction industry.

Proficiency in CAD software, Microsoft Office and other engineering design tools.

Strong understanding of relevant international standards and regulations related to heavy lifting and rigging operations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment.

Demonstrated leadership abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Major Heavy Lifting and Rigging Company's experience would be advantageous.

Fluency in English; additional language skills (Korean) would be advantageous.


Role & Responsibilities:

Develop conceptional, detailed plans and engineering designs for heavy lifting and rigging operations during EPC project bidding and execution stage in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to coordinate lifting and rigging activities with overall project schedules.

Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams on heavy lifting and rigging methodologies, equipment selection, and execution strategies.

Cost estimate for Heavy Lifting & Rigging under the Vendor's Quotation.

Conduct thorough risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.

Monitor and evaluate the performance of lifting and rigging operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
